Our Atelier
Coclico shoes are made in a family-run factory in Spain, a country with a centuries-old tradition of fine shoemaking. Every pair is produced in limited quantities, reflecting a deliberate commitment to craft over volume.
Where We Make
Coclico has produced its collections in the same family-run Spanish atelier since the brand's founding in 2000. Located in Spain's historic shoemaking region, the factory combines traditional hand techniques with modern precision. Working with a single, trusted production partner has allowed Coclico to maintain consistent quality and build a deep collaborative relationship with the artisans who make each shoe.
How We Make
Each Coclico shoe is constructed using traditional European shoemaking methods. The brand's signature sacchetto construction, a technique in which the upper is hand-sewn to a soft inner sock before lasting, creates the featherlight, glove-like fit that Coclico is known for. Lasts are developed in-house and refined season after season to achieve the precise balance of structure and comfort that defines the line.
Materials
Coclico selects leathers and materials chosen for both their aesthetic quality and longevity. The brand uses certified sustainable woods for its signature architectural heels, and works with tanneries that prioritize responsible production. Materials are chosen to improve with wear, developing patina and character over time rather than deteriorating.
Limited Production
Each collection is produced in small runs. This is not a marketing position. It is a structural choice that allows for greater attention at every stage of production and reduces waste. When a style sells out, it is rarely restocked in identical form.
